Theres no denying that there has never been a style quite like Ratatat’s. They use extremely creative and shockingly uncomputerized methods in creating their work, and their songs will deny your musical expectations until the sun comes up. This track isn’t one of their biggest, but is certainly one of my favorites!
FOLLOWERS: Please do this, for the sake of an awesome kid.
The other night, Terror and Trapped Under Ice played a show in my city of Buffalo, NY. What was an incredible show quickly turned into a tragedy. My good friend Mike Bird stage dove, landed awkwardly, and then immediately after, someone else stage dove and landed on Mike’s head. Apparently his C5 and C6 in his spinal column were broken, and he was taken out of the venue on a stretcher and rode in an ambulance to the hospital. He had to get emergency neck and spine surgery, and though he is improving, he is in rough shape. Mike is a great kid with a huge heart. He gives all that he can to the Buffalo hardcore scene, despite the hardships he’s had to go through in his personal life. The medical bills for this are going to be absolutely insane and a 19 year old kid who doesn’t even have a place to call home cannot possibly pay for it all on his own. If any of you could donate via PayPal to help defray the costs of his medical bills, it would be greatly appreciated. Any little bit helps. If you want to donate, the email address on PayPal is Sticktightbuffalostyle@gmail.com. Thank you so much, and if you can’t donate, at least keep him in your thoughts, or please reblog this to pass on the word. Again, thank you to anyone who can help even in the smallest way <3
